One of the UK's leading Data Intelligence companies are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk with a minimum of 12 months experience to join their finance team based in fantastic new offices near Tottenham Court Road station. Ideally, this company are looking for someone who is actively studying an AAT qualification to join their team.

Your new role
Working within a finance team of 5, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the companies finances, and thus the company as a whole. Your key day to day duties will include the following:

• Processing purchase invoices in Sage 300
• Importing staff expense claims to Sage 300
• Reconciling supplier statements
• Credit card reconciliations
• Allocating payments
• Dealing with supplier queries
• Ensuring invoice approvals are received and posted in a timely manner
• Ad hoc finance duties

What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will be a highly numerate and organised individual who is actively studying towards their AAT qualification. You will have a minimum of 12 months experience performing duties related to Accounts Payable/Purchase Ledger and you will be actively studying towards your AAT qualification.

The atmosphere in the office is sociable and friendly, therefore the client is looking for someone who is confident, charismatic and who enjoys talking to and meeting new people. The office is fast-paced and tight deadlines need to be met, therefore someone who is able to manage their own time and workload is a must for this role.

What you'll get in return
In return, the successful applicant will receive a fantastic salary of up to £26,000 plus study support for their AAT qualification (study support will be given in the form on money for exams as well as days off to study). You will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the accounts system ensuring that it is kept up to date and is always accurate. Working in 2 different currencies you will be processing invoices and bank transactions , preparing month end statements , helping the Sales Team manage Credit Control issues, organise the monthly payroll, prepare quarterly VAT returns as well as carrying out various other ad hoc duties
