An award-winning company with offices throughout the UK and their head office based in central Manchester are seeking a talented individual to join their expanding Development team.

The role:
The project lead is looking for an experienced software developer to join their team at their head office. After recently taking on a junior Developer you will have the opportunity to mentor and train other members.
Within the role you will be working on a variety of different projects that the company has planned. Currently they are planning to modernize their systems and bring in the use of new tech from the start of next year.

The company:
You will be working as part of a 4-person team within the development team to maintain and improve their web applications. At the head office you will be right in the centre of where everything happens and given the opportunity to work on multiple different group projects.

Projects:
Looking to modernise their system and websites you will be redesigning from top to bottom. An excellent opportunity for any developer to prove themselves.

Technologies used:
You will be working with different Microsoft based technologies. This will be done with the full .NET stack using C# and ASP.NET

Any experience of the following would also be ideal, but not necessary:

** Umbraco

** Bootstrap

Initially the role will focus the Maritime applications (scheduling tools), these products have been designed to optimise the turn-around of vessels to increase terminal efficiency at ports/terminals, the product is powered by an optimization algorithm. You will be taking on a key role within the product, being a key resource providing expert knowledge across the back end of the product. You will have strong experience of business-critical operational computer systems, as well as a good understanding of the performance and scalability challenges that can present themselves in technically challenging environments.
