The Role Responsibilities

Our Ideal Candidate
  • Minimum eight + years of professional experience in testing domain, preferably in banking/ insurance sector
  • Experience managing testing deliverables & resources, design manual/automated test plans according to projects requirements
  • Strong understanding of software quality best practices and processes. Experience with a broad range of testing practices
  • Domain knowledge of front-office trading - pricing and execution platforms for Derivatives products - FX Options, Rates and Commodities
  • Deep understanding of front-office trading functionality - trade lifecycle, trade booking models, trade pricing execution workflows, trade reporting and new product onboarding.
  • Back-office and Middle-office experience will be a plus
  • Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks - Cucumber for Java, Selenium
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP based web services standards, messaging models. Strong understanding of and experience with JSON, XML, HTTP. Experienced in API testing.
  • Strong proficiency in collaboration tools like Atlassian Confluence, JIRA and Microsoft Office suite.

Your role
A new agile management tool, making a huge difference in the Audit arena, has been purchased by Deloitte who now own the source code. The predominantly open source, cloud native application, is hosted on AWS and built on Angular and node. Some skilled engineers are sought to evolve and grow the solution and manage the application lifecycle using a DevOps approach.

  • Good hands on experience of Firebase,
  • Broad knowledge of NodeJS, Angular, AWS - Amazon Wed Services, GCP aswell as a number of continuous integration tools with specific focus on Azure DevOps.

Job Purpose

RMG Cyber Security Operations primary functions are to protect information assets and detect, analyse and respond to security information and events. Key Accountabilities

  • Cyber Security Operations. Working under the direction and guidance of the Head of Security Engineering and following the Security Engineering strategy, maintain and develop key security technologies within the RMG estate to ensure that the Cyber Security Operations team have optimized, accurate access to the required toolsets and information.
  • Technology. Working closely with Head of Security Engineering, security architects and technology operations teams to ensure the correct operation, and optimal configuration of supporting security technologies.
  • Value. Lead technical teams to enable and develop appropriate levels of protection and logging from new and existing security technologies, maximizing their value to the Cyber Security Operations team.
