The role:

  • Provide full lifecycle support including installation, ongoing monitoring, maintenance and documentation for firewall & security devices, as well as WAN networks.
  • You will be deploying and configuring SDWAN whilst helping maintain connectivity at all remote sites.
  • Participation in the design and implementation of the global network infrastructure
  • You will proactively develop recommendations concerning equipment life cycle and replacement and assist in developing network hardware and software configuration standards, in adherence with company policies and procedures.
  • Occasional after hours/weekend work will be required and participation in an on-call rotation schedule.

Skills Required

  • Experience supporting network architecture, with strong knowledge of key networking protocols used in the design and operation of such networks being essential -
  • Knowledge and experience of OSPF, BGP and VXLAN, and the use of the CLI
  • Experience supporting firewalls including policy/VPN is required.
  • Exposure to Linux
  • Python
  • Experience with Palo Alto/Juniper SRX/Cisco ASA platforms,
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

Award winning Software House that create market leading products with an array of modern technologies are looking for a skilled Back-End Developer. They have a global footprint as they supply solutions to over 50+ countries worldwide and they aren't stopping there. The company have been running for almost 10 years now and they have seen a dramatic increase in size on an annual basis. They are working with a really modern tech stack and looking for real tech savvy Developers to join their team and help them push their products to the next level.

If successful you will join an established Dev team (circa 30) and will be involved in both greenfield and brownfield development projects. The company already have several key products that you will be working on, all supported with modern tech - so you will ideally have experience with modern tech or at least a strong desire to do so. Equally, you should be a sociable character as the company are looking for someone with bags of personality that will transition into the team fairly easily.

You will ideally be a confident Software Developer with at least a couple of years commercial experience developing web applications - the company aren't too bogged down with your primary tech language, they are more interested in Developers that can create clean quality code & pick up what is needed. Their main technologies used on site are NodeJS, Typescript and AWS - so experience with these technologies is highly desirable, but not a prerequisite.

You should ideally have;
** Several years of commercial experience with; JavaScript, C#, Java or Python!
** Exposure working in a product focused environment
** Ability to flex with new / different technologies
** knowledge / experience working in an Agile environment.

Any experience with the following is highly beneficial;
** Cloud Services (AWS or Azure)
** NodeJS or TypeScript
