As a Software QA / Test Analyst your main responsibilities will include:

  • Create, maintain and enhance testing processes and documentation for all Autoglym Ecommerce and digital customer facing platforms.
  • Develop and execute end-to-end tests spanning multiple systems to ensure all scenarios are considered, tested and that the platforms are working as required.
  • Understand and interpret business processes. Identify and tackle gaps in development documentation.
  • Where required develop detailed functional specifications, user stories, testing vectors and changes resulting from testing and feed these into the development team.
  • Be the first point of contact for troubleshooting to identify where program faults are occurring and liaise with the development team to correct.
  • Assist in the design of the flow of interfaced data through ecommerce systems.

  • Ensure all digital development is consistent with Altro Group IT, Development, and Security policies.
  • Attend project meetings to input into process analysis and definition of requirements.
  • Assist in the development of strategies to improve the maturity of the test/QA discipline within the team, helping to incorporate penetration/security testing, automated regression testing, and code coverage testing.
  • Communicate effectively to a variety of stakeholders from technical staff to business owners on project developments, progress, key timings and testing requirements.
