Templeton & Partners is currently working with a large ICT company looking for an experienced architect focus on Oracle EBS software package.

Initial 6 months contract based in Reading, or London.

Requirements:

Minimum working experience: 10 years

1. 6+ years advanced experience in procurement (supplier inspection and purchasing implementation) related filed (required)

2. Proficient in EBS software package and application infrastructure, technology trend of ERP; familiar with new technology and solution in industry. (required)

3. Proficient in EBS software package and application infrastructure, information & technology architecture, technology trend of ERP and Cloud application.  (required) 

4. Expertise in EBS or procurement filed of ERP: have successful projects experience in best practice implementation for small manufacturing customers and experience in leading cross-function purchasing for technology infrastructure, application infrastructure and related design, implementation and maintenance. (required)

5. Understand the EBS or the procurement function for industry ERP including the business flow, data flow, system logic, data module, data table structure, data processing method and system control point. (required)

6. Familiar with back-end technology, administration table, API, development tools( including but not limited to Report Builder, Form Builder, PL/SQL, ADF); experience in function expansion (required)

You will support an existing small programme team working on the implementation of HR system (eESS, based on Oracle eBusiness Suite).
 
  • This role sits within the data migration work stream and focuses on the continual development of bespoke data migration solutions based on environment shadow copies of source data systems
  • Complex data quality and validation processes; static and dynamic data mapping
  • Test and live data migration processes into third party operated Oracle eBusiness Suite staging tables and data load processes
  • Supporting end-user inputs to data mapping, validation and test processes; reporting; and working with live system team.
  • Decommissioning the temporary data migration environments to standards required for system security policy.
  • This is a key technical role and will include interpreting complex requirements, contributing technical solutions and working with non-technical staff.

Experience:
  • Practical experience in the specification, development and implementation of database systems (within a public or private service environment)
  • A theoretical knowledge of IT systems architecture gained through past implementations of product sets
  • Specialist knowledge of technical aspects of systems; hardware, database, software and hardware integration environments and associated knowledge of legislation, best practices and procedures surrounding IT
  • Experience of supporting and developing large-scale, multi-site IT systems.
  • Working experience of a wide range of technologies, including Oracle DB, Oracle eBusiness Suite, PL/SQL, Visual Basic Scripting, MS SQL, MS SQL ETL

Skills and qualifications:
Educated to Diploma/Degree level in an IT related subject or equivalent practical experience in this field

Recognised accreditations / qualifications in the systems/environments used, e.g. MS SQL.
