Forward Role Recruitment Technology Division is recruiting on behalf of an award winning and innovative technology business based in Manchester City Centre. The business is set to scale and they now have an urgent require for multiple senior .Net Developers to hit the ground running with leading edge technologies.

The overall purpose of the position is to develop and support full stack .net applications in order to meet the needs of the business and own the application delivery for some key projects as required.

This would be an opportunity for a senior developer to play a key role in the growth of the organisation and to assist the CTO with a robust development strategy.

This is a hands on position where you will also contribute to architectural and POC initiatives with the overall aim being the delivery of the highest quality experience to the end users.

Required skill/experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience of the delivery of high volume .Net applications
  • Expert knowledge of Webforms, MVC and the delivery of high quality, secure web applications
  • Expert knowledge of WCF and Web API and demonstrable experience of delivering secure REST based APIs ideally for iOS and Android
  • Good knowledge of front end tools and technology
  • TDD ideally automated test experience
  • Knowledge of Azure

In return for your expertise the company is offering a great city centre location, a salary payable to £55,000 plus package inclusive of 33 days’ holiday.

.NET Developer x2 - SC Cleared Projects

RT Consulting have been delivering innovative change & transformation to Government and Defence, Transport and Utilities Sectors for over 30 years. Our Associates are challenged to bring expert knowledge and creativity to drive sustainable and lasting change across our programmes.

We are looking to grow our team of .NET Developers to join one of our largest Government programmes on an interim basis. You will be working directly on site representing RT Consulting, liaising with our partners and project stakeholders whilst enhancing the existing software, services, documentation and other such artefacts.

Due to the nature of this project, as a .Net Developer, ideally these Consultants will hold a current NPPV3 or have worked within a police environment.

Your objectives will be to;

  • Work as part of the team to fully design and implement the development of whole stack solutions, including back end data services
  • Assist in continuous improvement to deal with the ever changing and more challenging operational environments
  • Ensure that code is appropriately tested before it is released to any environment and to liaise with business / test analysts, as required
  • Adhere to specific road maps and strategic plans
  • Work closely with the Technical Architects in actively designing elements of specific solutions

Ideally our .Net Developer will have experience in a number of the following;

  • Utilising Full Stack .NET Development ( C#.Net ) interfacing to Microsoft SQL Server back end databases
  • Working on solution delivery and application design in an Official Sensitive environment
  • C#, MVVM/WPF, WCF, MVC, WebAPI, Core and windows server operating systems
  • Writing technical Documentation
  • WPF MVVM & WCF ODATA
  • In Test Driven Development (TDD) and automated testing techniques.
  • Design and build of resilient Enterprise class software in a heterogeneous environment
  • In Rest/SOAP Web Service development
