Service Delivery Manager- Operational Cleaning

6 month FTC £30,000 pa, pro rata + benefits

North West London - Static Site

(A mixture of Day and Night shifts to oversee the operational team and complete auditing)

Working for a leading Global Facilities Services provider, this role is dedicated to a high value contract within the Rail sector.

We provide fleet Cleaning services. This includes the provision of:

  • Standard Cleans- including depo and train units
  • Deep Cleans (P Cleans)
  • Turnaround Cleaning

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the safe and profitable delivery of our service on site
  • Consistently meet all operational targets ensure contractual, financial and H&S targets met
  • Manage and develop employees ensuring they have the required skills to perform their duties. Request/delivery relevant training where practicable.
  • Improve the customer and wider stakeholder experience through delivery of operational efficiency, meeting of KPI target and being correctly resourced with properly trained and motivated staff
  • Ensure a culture of accurate and timely reporting of required data thrives and use this management information to drive the business forward.
  • Own the relationship with the relevant depot managers, movement managers, auditing staff and other senior stakeholders
  • Ensure budget compliance by controlling costs and optimising output
  • Maintaining accurate operational and personnel records

Person Specification:

  • HSEQ Qualification- Desirable
  • Demobilisation of a contract- desirable
  • Extensive experience managing a cleaning operation in a depot/ rail environment, high value portfolio - Desirable
  • Proven ability to motivate, lead and develop a team of people
  • Strong client focus, with the ability to understand and work with multiple stakeholders
  • Evidence of managing performance and identifying improvements with management data
  • To be flexible and able to work out of hours to support service delivery needs when necessary
  • Supplier management, managing suppliers in a similar type of environment

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
