Market leading specialist finance company are looking for an ambitious, talented C# web developer to join their development team. Their platform is built on the Microsoft stack (ASP.NET MVC / SQL server / Azure). The ideal candidate will have the ability to work across the whole SDLC from inception through to design, implementation and deployment.

Every member of their team is expected to contribute in the design and planning stages; they are constantly striving to deliver cutting edge solutions for their clients. The role also involves offering technical expertise on client calls/meetings and provide technical insight to the business account managers during the tender process.

A degree in a computer related discipline is desirable but experience in a similar role will also be considered.

Working with agile product development teams, you will become a Subject Matter Expert for business applications providing advice, functional and operational support.

Tech Skills required:

  • SQL
  • Logging tools (ie Papertrail & datadog), able to create alerts
  • AWS knowledge (basic)
  • JavaScript (basic understanding)
  • Github/source control
  • CI/CD pipelines (understanding needed to debug, not create them)
  • Powershell scripting
  • Nice to have: Linux knowledge, More advanced AWS knowledge (docker, Kubernetes etc…), Salesforce admin, Power BI.

We're looking for someone to…

  • Take ownership of incidents and problems escalated to the team.
  • Engineer solutions to complex IT issues using automation, debugging and collaboration with developers.

There is a shift based system between 8am and 7pm Monday - Friday and an on call rota 24/7. Each staff member will be on call one week in every seven.

In addition to a £45,000 salary and a £2,000 on-call allowance, you will also receive a 75% discount on your London underground travel.
