Lucent are recruiting a Senior Product Manager to join the Edinburgh based centre of excellence of a market leading energy company who are passionate about their green credentials. You will be leading product management across the squad on a new product which will be used by multiple businesses to manage key processes and ensure a world class customer experience. Importantly, this product will empower customers to manage their energy usage more efficiently. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to be involved in a product from the early stages, defining experience and strategy while helping to create the product culture.
About the Job
You will be leading product management within an agile environment across multiple teams in Edinburgh and London. Working in this customer focused, data driven organisation you will prioritise in-line with business efficiency, customer experience, and cost savings. You will build strong relationships with stakeholders and work in a collaborative manner to create a seamless end-to-end journey for all user groups.
As a Senior Product Manager you will set the vision and strategy for the product while mentoring less experienced team members. You will define product metrics and ensure that the product's development is always moving in the right direction. About You
You are an experienced Senior Product Manager with a highly customer focused mindset. You will be articulate and able to create communication strategies. Very collaborative, you will enjoy getting stuck-in and be comfortable working in an environment where you don't have all the answers. You thrive when solving customer problems and are always eager to improve customer experience. Importantly, you will be confident in supporting and mentoring less experienced team members and ensuring best practice.
Skills and Experience Include:

Extensive product management experience in either a B2B or B2C agile technology environment
*
Experience delivering products to internal and external customers
*
Experience working in an Agile environment
*
Excellent data analysis skills, you will ideally have some experience of SQL, but it is envisioned that there will be data analysis support as the team grows
*
Experience working in a modern technology environment where teams are working with methodologies, technologies and tools such as distributed architecture, microservices, CI/CD, TDD and JIRA
*
Commercial acumen combined with a deep understanding of your customers' needs both internally and externally
*
Extremely strong communicator and confident in collaborating across multiple locations
