Role responsibilities:

• Document the proposed reports appropriate documentation
• Provide technical documentation for proposed development or extension to the DWH
• Design data model for the reporting
• Design mapping for any Extract Transform and Load (ETL) routines using SSIS, C#.Net (Data ETL)
• Develop reports/dashboards using MicroStrategy
• Answer questions and resolve ambiguities for the DBA/developers during development
• Develop system test plans, use cases, and execute the tests. Track issues and defects to resolution

Senior SQL Developer -Contract - London (Liverpool street)

- £500 per day

Due to growth we are looking for a Senior SQL Developer working for a multinational investment bank.

We're searching for a senior SQL developer who is an expert in SQL development, data mapping, data quality, data load to join our team of developers on various Extraction Transform Load (ETL) projects.

Required Skills:

• Outstanding SSIS, SSAS and MS SQL skills
• Passion for SQL development
• Flexible, adaptive, prefers simplicity over complexity and self-motivated
• VBA/excel based expertise to support front end used by business users
• Strong SQL Skills and ability to write advanced SQL statements, Stored Procedures and Triggers.
• Experienced working with RAD/Agile development methodology for SDLC Standards
• Experience in development with Microsoft Azure Data Factory.
• Worked specifically with Microsoft .NET Framework (4.0 / 4.5) and SQL
• Experience in migrating on-premises SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory.
• Understanding of programming constructs (C#, VC++.net) in a MS Windows based enterprise software environment

Nice to have:

• C# development skills is a valued plus.

• Provide technical documentation, as needed.

• Design, build and deploy effective SSIS packages, Azure Data Factory

• Development of high-quality database solutions.

• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.
