If you have Angular or React experience this will be beneficial but its not essential. You will be working on multiple websites as well as their internal website with a view to work alot on reusable components for a lot of the websites.

The role

The client is looking for a UX Designer for a 3 Month period in Birmingham City Centre.

What you'll need to succeed

The role of the UX designer is to present ideas and influence stakeholder with evidence from discovery phase. Working in agile teams designing user focused service. Help facilitate excellent user experience. Someone who will contribute to the digital services and enhancing the currents standards, transforming the way the business works. You will be an integral part of that team, designing, creating and improving services.

Experience Required

? Experience of designing interactions professionally for the web and mobile.
? Experience of interface design. Core skills: sketching, design production, HTML & CSS.
? Experience of working within an agile, multi-disciplinary team environment, and the ability to deliver iterative design components (including user journeys) to the development team.
? Be comfortable eliciting and defining business/user process flows and requirements.
? Be able to generate concepts, ideas and user journeys

Desirable

• Central government experience.
• GDS experience.

We are currently hiring for a talented Mobile React Native Developer to join a market-leading FinTech. Whilst they are a very established company they have a relatively new and modern engineering department in London. As a result, they can offer you greenfield development and complex problems to solve whilst enjoying a high level of autonomy and influence within the Spotify squads model.

As a React Native developer you will be developing their flagship mobile application and creating fast, flexible and user-friendly experiences. You will collaborating with UX, technical and business team members to understand requirements and develop solutions using an Agile development process.

Essential requirements:

• React and React Native development, including React Hooks.

• Modern components and libraries e.g. Material, react-native-paper.

• Responsive web and mobile design.

• Mobile app build and release process, using Xcode / Android Studio

• Code signing process and deploying to the major App Stores

• JavaScript and design patterns, CSS (SCSS), JSX.

• Unit and UI testing using third party tools e.g. Jest, Appium, karma, jasmine etc.
