The Role:
· We are looking for an experienced Quality Test Engineer who would be working on a key Data Transformation project.
· Following the Agile testing lifecycle / best practices to ensure completion of tasks in a timely manner.
· Working with a squad of highly capable business anaysts, developers and systems engineers supporting the Data Transformation project.
Working with data-rich systems and test automation for data transformations
Key Responsibilities:
Working as part of a squad in collaboration with Product owners, BAs, Developers, Architects and other involved teams
- Creating test scenarios from requirements and acceptance criteria to ensure maximum test coverage
- Implementing test automation for all test scenarios (functional, non-functional) and any other automation that can facilitate effective testing
- Continuous maintenance of the test automation framework
- Raise defects with all the relevant information
- Produce reports and documentation to keep stakeholders and management up to date.
- Achieve high level of automation coverage for all products that are delivered by the team
- Set-up builds in CI/CD Tool to run automated tests
- Release management
Essential Skills:
- Good experience working with web applications and APIs
- Sound experience in front end test automation using JavaScript/Typescript
- Sound experience in automating API tests
- Experience working with Docker
- Experience with source control
- Experience with CI/CD tools to configure tests
- Experience with working in an Agile environment
- Experience with using Agile/Scrum tools such as JIRA,Confluence
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
- Good team player and can work with minimal supervision
- Passion for software development and high quality code
Desired Skills:
- Good understanding of AWS Serverless platform
- Performance /load testing experience

We also create innovative sources of new insight – for example modelling of power demands, processing of European gas flows or tracking/predicting in real-time worldwide ship movements.
