Purpose of Job

My client is currently seeking an ambitious, experienced and proven sales professional to play a key role in developing my clients Microsoft Cloud Platform and Managed Services business. The job will be responsible for driving new sales and in developing the accounts that the successful candidate secures.

The postholder will be responsible for all key processes in the sales cycle including prospecting, pre-sales, proposal development, deal completion and after sales relationship and account management. Given the high percentage of the work that my client attracts via the partner channel, it is expected that the post-holder will capitalise on our strong relationships with our service delivery partners such as Microsoft and KPMG.

This advanced Software House based in Derby are looking to add an IT Project Manager to their Project Delivery team. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of key IT internal and client facing projects, ensuring they are planned, coordinated, executed and delivered on time and on budget, within scope and delivering the required goals.  The role will see you planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications, monitoring, reporting and demonstrating control of project schedule, risks and issues, whilst managing resources across multiple projects
 
Technical skills for this Agile Project Manager 
  • Project methodology (Agile / PRINCE2) – AGILE is key for this role
  • Process mapping (Visio)
  • MS Project / Wrike (or similar)
 
Essential experience for this role; 
  • Demonstrable experience in project managing complete software / technology development cycle
  • Ability to lead the execution of multiple projects
  • Experience managing high volume of projects
  • Critical thinking and high-level problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to work to deadlines
  • Proven experience of delivering consistently accurate and high-quality work
  • Process driven with awareness and knowledge of Governance around projects
  • Acting as a conduit between businesses, IT and the market
  • Must be able to travel to Derby office

  • Workforce management systems experience
