Durham Professional Services has a requirement for an experienced Automation Tester, this is a senior role and will involve having responsibility for our client's automation test team.

This role will be to provide expert and professional automation test analysis services, including the creation and execution of automation packs for regression testing for both web and native iOS applications.

  • Ensure automation packs cover the required functional areas to high quality standards, based on prioritisation by the business.
  • Manage relationships and interactions with the different business units as well as IT and Project Management to understand and implement precise functions and requirements.
  • Exposure to a fast-paced collaborative project environment with work-packages differing in size and timescale so the ability to juggle tasks simultaneously and complete these to strict deadlines is essential.

It is expected that applicants should have:-

  • Experience in creating and executing automated Test scripts
  • Experience with Selenium (Java), Jenkins, Eclipse, Cucumber, Gherkin
  • Knowledge of automated iOS app testing
  • Proven ability to translate business test scenarios into gherkin format
  • Schedule and report on automation execution
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, business users, business analysts, developers and UX designers
