The ICT department is at the start of a substantial and rewarding journey to transform ICT within the Fire Service and as a result we have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Software Developer to join the ICT team.
This is a varied and interesting role, supporting the ICT team with the transformational change projects and maintaining existing ICT investments in Hardware, Software, Services, Network Infrastructure and Security systems.

The role will require:
- Developing applications using the .Net stack, C#, MVC, HTML, CSS and Javascript/JQuery.
- Experience involving data processing, transmission, storage and retrieval, primarily with Microsoft SQL Server.
- To employ software development strategies, unit testing solutions, release procedures, source code repository and version control solutions.
- Ability to effectively understand new ICT systems and technologies, including keeping abreast of emerging technologies.
