Enterprise Data Architect

The role

Your Responsibilities

As a member of an established team and reporting directly to the Director of Technology you will work across our IT, Professional Services, Academic and Research departments to define data and information management strategies, roadmaps and enterprise solutions that will improve data management, quality, reporting and analytics capability in their respective business areas.

As an ambassador of change, you will have a continuous improvement ethos, and will seek to work with the wider university and IT Services to develop solutions that are fit for purpose and will enable innovation.

Core Skills

  • Ideally experience in developing Enterprise level Data solutions and architecture within a large complex technology and user environment

  • Experience in developing Data Strategy, platform patterns, standards, models and their governance processes.

  • Exposure to Hybrid and Cloud Data Platforms (Azure) and understanding of data access and analytical approaches

  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to communicate and influence a broad range of IT and Non IT stakeholders

  • An awareness of current and emerging technologies and service

Communication

  • You will be self-motivated and dynamic, and able to engage, challenge and influence others

  • A track record of developing and maintaining collaborative working relationships across IT and the wider institution

  • An ability to explain technical issues to non-specialists, and to write clear technical reports and other formal documentation for solution deployments and evaluations is essential.

Our client is now looking to take on an experienced POS Account Manager to assist with one of their key clients based in Greater Manchester. You will be on site with the client and provide first class service for their retail point of sale needs.
The role requirements:
You will work closely with the client, colleagues and suppliers to deliver a first class service.
You will take responsibility for the POS within their client along with other printed collateral.
You will provide technical input and offer advice to their client to ensure they get the best value in print procurement.
You will work to strict SLA's to ensure continuity for the contact.
You will support the senior account manager/director to meet all KPI's.
You will deal directly with print suppliers keeping deliveries within the SLA's.
What sort of people are we looking for?
