Role

You will be the first DBA/database developer in our team which consists of many talented and highly experienced IT professionals. You can expect to be working with different database technologies and hosting platforms. You will be working closely with our DevSecOps team on improving our ways of working and promoting best practices. Big part of the role is education and consultancy within and outside of the team.

Responsibilities

  • Administer MS SQL Server databases (user access, backups strategy, security strategy, audit, encryption)
  • Design databases and infrastructure fit for purpose
  • Support live systems
  • Data quality assurance

A Shopify Front End Developer with previous experience using Shopify is required to deliver mobile first sites on Shopify & Shopify Plus. There is an opportunity to work completely remote. Shopify Front End Developer - Shopify - CONTRACT - Competitive Day Rate - Remote OR West Yorkshire

Front End Developer - Shopify - CONTRACT - Competitive Day Rate - Outside IR35. A Shopify Front End Developer with previous experience using Shopify is required to deliver mobile first sites on Shopify & Shopify Plus. There is an opportunity to work completely remote. The business is based in West Yorkshire, however operate the following trust policy; as long as the job gets done, you can work from wherever.

This role is full time and pays a competitive day rate. 3 month minimum contract with the very high likelihood of being extended on an ongoing basis from there on in. This role is Outside IR35 and will remain outside IR35 after 6th April. Looking for someone to start ASAP.

Skills required:

· At least 3 years' front end development experience - JavaScript, HTML, CSS

· At least 1 year/project worth of experience with Shopify - Liquid

· Experience in version control - Git

· Ideal but not essential - Shopify Plus experience

· Ideal but not Essential - Ruby experience

· Adobe/Creative Suite/Sketch or similar

· Excellent Communications skills

· Excellent organisational skills
