As a Cloud Engineer, you will be based in Walsall, North Birmingham.

Key skills & responsibilities

  • Build high availability (HA), cloud-native applications

  • Develop automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.

  • 4+ years' experience in software engineering

  • 1+ years' AWS experience

  • 1+ years' designing and scaling Docker workloads in production

  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification

  • Experience building micro-service systems

  • Expertise in a compiled language such as Go, Rust, Java

  • Expertise in front-end development using vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS3

  • Knowledge of cloud architecture patterns and strategies including SaaS, PaaS, Security, Compute, Storage, and Messaging, Kafka/RabbitMQ

Desired Skills

  • AWS Developer Certification

  • Experience with the GitLab/Azure DevOps Lifecycle

  • Experience with Lambda functions

  • Experience with designing and implementing multi-tenant SaaS systems

  • Experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, 4.x

  • Experience with kubernetes.

  • AWS Certifications

The permanent opportunity for a Cloud Engineer will pay up to £70,000 plus a competitive benefits package.
