You and this revolutionary start-up have a common interest - you are both on a mission to help end financial exclusion across the world. You both believe that everyone should be able to be a part of the financial system. What you might not know about this start-up is tat they are already helping everyone to access the financial system, no matter what your past experiences are (good or bad). And they can do it all for free!

They are a young, ambitious and exciting group of well managed individuals, who have together already made a serious footprint in the world of FinTech. With multiple awards under their belt in only a few years and huge plans for 2020, they need you to join them as a Front End Developer in their Bristol City Centre offices.

You will report directly into the Lead Developer and be surrounded by great people in a fun and supportive office environment. The team are rapidly expanding, and you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow with the company.

The quality of the code and processes are extremely important and as a part of the Agile approach that they have as a company, they run peer code reviews to maximise the growth potential of the team. That said, each team members role has been developed to compliment the skills of the individual and bring the best out in everyone.

The current stack includes a front-end client-facing web app built with React and a PHP backend which includes the admin system and public API, built with Lavarel/MySQL and Vue.js. They are using AWS hosted Linux servers and RDS for databases with some legacy code (being run-down) in Codelgniter.

You'll need to be driven, passionate and dynamic with a proactive approach in experimenting with new tech and platforms, finding creative solutions to new problems. You'll need to be familiar with and have experience with modern JS libraries (ideally React), CSS preprocessors, version control (Git) and agile methodology.

And as if that's not enough, they are also happy to pay you, amongst numerous other benefits. The salary will reflect your level of experience and 25 days leave (plus an extra day in your birthday month) plus bank holidays. They offer flexible working arrangements with a couple of days remote, clear and quick career progression, mentoring from industry leaders, a cool office in the heart of Bristol and a learning budget to help you advance your career.
