My client, a high-growth FinTech company, is hiring in their Boston office for a System Engineer with at least 5 years of Windows administration experience and strong familiarity with AWS to help support and develop their global technology infrastructure which runs the company’s highly specialized software used by top Investment Banks and other financial firms to streamline and automate their data operations.

This is an incredible opportunity as it’s the company’s first dedicated technology hire in North America and will work closely with the other members of the global technology team, as well as internal IT users and external customers as the company continues to scale. In this role you’ll be given the “keys to the kingdom” and have great responsibility in launching this new function.

Candidates must have at least 5 years in Windows administration including Windows Server and Active Directory. In addition, candidates must have demonstrable experience with AWS in a corporate or enterprise live production environment. Experience with DevOps skillsets such as Python and automation tools like Git and Jenkins is highly desirable, as well as Citrix tools like NetScaler.

modernisation of our current product, whilst also supporting and promoting agile practices
especially Agile Scrum. Working with the product, production and content teams to develop user
interface concepts, we are looking for a Front End Engineer to innovate and advocate the use of the
latest technologies and technology trends with a focus on performance, compatibility, and security.

The Person

using React Native. You are currently working with an agile development team (SCRUM, Kanban,
etc) and bring a real drive, energy, and enthusiasm to your work. Your strong written and

communication skills will complement your ability to engage in architectural discussions and drive
engineering practices towards excellence. You will also have knowledge of semantic markup with
HTML5 and CSS3, and a good understanding of at least one of: SCSS, SASS or Styled-Components.

The purpose of this role is  system migration. For obvious reasons, they are moving across from Angular to React.

Essentually they are looking for someone with good Front-End skills, coupled with React/Native React.

The setup of the team is flat and this role will report into the Head of engineering/CTO

They have engineers onsite as well as a remote office in Poland and in total 20 developers

They believe in flexible working and offer remote and WFH opportunities for a couple of days a week.
