You are a well-established Senior Software Engineer who can demonstrate a proven track-record of delivering projects to an excellent standard and to tight deadlines. You are experienced in providing solutions with a range of technologies and working with other key areas of the business to fulfil the business objectives. You have a keen eye for detail, a passion for technology and a high interest in emergent tech.

What should you have?
Experience with Node
Highly proficient coding skills with PHP
Solid understanding of MVC frameworks
Experience with TDD + BDD (PHPUnit/PHPSpec/Behat)
Proficient in the creation and consumption of REST API's
Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration

It would be nice if you also had:

Experience with Elastic search
Experience with MongoDB
Knowledge of DDD

Senior Java Developer

£500/day - Inside IR35

Contract - 6 months - Crawley

Looking for a Senior Java Developer for a 6-month contract starting as soon as possible over in Crawley for a travel company. You will be involved in designing and developing software in a micro-service architecture as well as generating estimates for future development using Agile.

You will need to be at a Senior level with strong proficiency in Java, an understanding of DevOps culture, familiarity with AWS, containerisation platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes and have the ability to liaise with other members in different teams to maintain projects and develop functional support for the company's products.

Skills/expertise:

Required

• Strong Java (other programming a plus too)
• Unit testing: Junit, Mock, Cucumber, BDD
• SQL, NoSQL, XML, SOAP, JSON
• Agile methodologies
