Service Desk Analyst, 6 month contract, £140-£170 (outside of IR35), Reading

An exciting large profile organisation based in central Reading are currently undergoing major digital change and transformation and are now in need of a driven, reliable and hands-on Service Desk Analyst to support their IT function.

You will be the main point of contact for all 1st line infrastructure requests, from a technical and analytical perspective - managing daily tasks such as supporting IT kits, desktops, laptops, applications and some access management.

Although the main responsibility will essentially be to take a que of faults/service requests and to either fix them or allocate them to the next in line/3rd parties to resolve. You will analyse the que and group together issues and faults that are caused by the same event.

To succeed, you will need to of had previous commercial experience working in a similar role. Previous experience working within the public sector will also work in your favour although this is not a necessity.

In return you will receive the opportunity to work for high profile government organisation on a healthy rate outside of IR35, on an initial 6-month contract with likelihood of further extension.
