As an Asset Engineer for water supply, your role will be maintaining a suite of Network Analysis tools, including hydraulic models and asset performance software. You will be providing subject matter expertise to the business through strategic recommendations on improving water quality and distribution. You will be providing technical guidance to facilitate network and production alterations, which will ensure that our customers always receive a high level of service. You will be carrying out root cause analyses on asset failures and proposing solution focused production and network changes to effectively mitigate these.

You will demonstrate an understanding of and willingness to use hydraulic models – although you need not have experience in this as training will be provided. You will ideally have an educational or working background in engineering or science. While not essential to the role, you may also have water industry and distribution networks experience including network hydraulics, water quality and treatment processes. You will be able to demonstrate your strong attention to detail as you work with and analyse large data sets. Your strong verbal and written communication abilities will come through as you partner with a range of stakeholders around the business.
