As a Lead Developer your main responsibilities will include:

  • The candidate will be part of a small focused team of specialists from a range of functions/businesses, including our Business Services Group, to deliver innovative and leading edge technology solutions that provide our clients with new approaches to help educate and engage with scheme members, Trustees and sponsors.
  • This role provides the successful candidate with a range of excellent opportunities to develop their analytical skills and experience whilst interacting with senior representatives across the Group to develop and deliver the web and digital vision being set by the management team. Manipulation of pension's data sets and the ability to create and map data to a common data format is going to be key aspect of this role. Familiarity with ETL processes and design is therefore critical and applicants should be familiar with SQL and SSIS.
  • Throughout the project the Senior Systems Analyst is going to be responsible for the review of all data required to support the functionality and creating the necessary data extracts from a variety of data sources to support the work.
  • Technical documentation, analytical reporting and supporting the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) should be expected.
  • Data sets, derived from the calculation engines of our Administration platform's calculations routines, will need augmented for modelling functionality. Working from calculation specifications applicants should be familiar with Excel in order to generate any additional calculated values that are required in our datasets.
