Your new role
The role of the Infrastructure Services Domain Architect, reporting to the Head of IT Operations, is to align business requirements to infrastructure services whilst providing expert guidance, assistance and communication on domain direction.

You will ensure projects deliverables are going to be deliverable in the wider infrastructure service context. Identify project gaps, constraints, issues and risks in design and ensure project deliverables match the design.

Coordinate and collaborate with network, application, security and database administration functions to ensure road-map is implementable.

Work with both internal and external suppliers as appropriate to ensure compliance to and performance of road-map. Act as lead contact for the supplier to understand road-maps.

What you'll need to succeed

  • 5 GCSEs or equivalent (including Maths and English, minimum Grade C)
  • Extensive and broad-based IT and business experience, delivering diverse corporate and operational IT services in a medium/large organisation
  • Familiarity of ITIL and project governance or equivalent
  • Adept at presenting complex information in straight forward terms to a range of audiences
  • Ability to quickly understand the business context and establish solid relationships with business stakeholder
  • Full UK driving licence

As a QA Test Analyst you will help ensure the quality of the core, real-time energy monitoring platform using a variety of testing methods including Black Box, White Box, Functional, Integration and Performance testing. You'll partner with software developers to review and understand software specifications and write comprehensive test plan and test specification documents as well as creating and maintaining automated test platforms and related infrastructure. You'll be working in a modern software development environment with Agile teams and testing in production.
