My client are looking for several Java Software Engineers to be based from their central Leeds offices.

You will have a proven track record with software engineering fundamentals; algorithms, multi-threading/garbage collection and have a strong interest in new technology.

Key skills are as follows;

Commercial experience of software development using Java
Strong Object Oriented skills
Good database knowledge of SQL or NoSQL
Continuous integration, build tools and scripting

  • A strong depth of knowledge in Java and Javascript (ReactJS)
  • A deep architectural understanding of web applications
  • Interest to learn more about new technologies (such as languages and frameworks)
  • An Understanding of how to build performant, decoupled, testable, maintainable code

Aside from strong technical prowess including hands-on coding ability, the candidate should have a deep understanding of architecture and an ability to plan for changes

The candidate needs to show:
