Job Description:
We are looking for a full stack web developer / software engineer to join our team and become primarily responsible for designing, building and maintaining back end systems, as well as working on the public ecommerce sites.
The role will cover the building of intuitive back-end user interfaces within a LAMP stack environment, in order to expand our current bespoke platform, as well as the integration with 3rd party services via API calls using various technologies.
This individual should be talented, hard-working, enthusiastic, motivated, reliable and deadline driven. A natural problem solver with the ability to adapt quickly coupled with a keen willingness to learn.
Qualified candidates should also have a complete understanding of how the front and back end interact. Understanding of the concepts of progressive enhancement and future friendly design are highly encouraged.

Required skills:
• Proficiency in the following languages: PHP / MySQL / HTML5 / CSS3 / JS / JQUERY
• Knowledge and experience of GIT / Linux / Apache / Bootstrap
• API Integrations with 3rd party services
• Understanding of web site hosting and server technology
• Love of learning, and ability to proactively manage your own work load
• Team player willing to pitch in for the greater good
• Comfortable working with a bespoke MVC framework
• High level of competence and experience of using and writing custom JavaScript code

Unknown recruitment is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a world leading provider of technology, product innovation, engineering solutions and strategic consulting to the world's automotive industries with a network of technical centres worldwide.

This Embedded Software engineer will be reporting to the Chief Software Engineer. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate proven capability and experience of designing and developing software for high performance embedded systems such as instrument clusters, infotainment consoles, gateway and connectivity modules, seat and door control units and more.

Your main tasks and responsibilities as Embedded Software Engineer will include:

• Realisation of embedded software for 8-, 16- and 32-bit microcontrollers using established company design practices and software life cycles in line with the ISO2001:2008 quality system and high integrity design standards;

• Interpretation of system requirements in collaboration with systems and hardware engineers to generate software requirements using semi-formal methods;

• Code implementation using C/C++ programming languages, assembly language and automatic code generation from modelled environments;

• Generation and execution of test plans and reports at all levels of the “V” life cycle, including unit/structural tests, integration tests and verification/validation tests;

• Generation and formal review of technical documentation and artefacts from the design process;

Embedded Software Engineer requirements:

• Degree-qualified in an appropriate science or engineering discipline;
