A working understanding of Cyber and Information Security principles including knowledge of the types of threats and vulnerabilities to IT hardware and software.

What do I need to do the role?


You will need to demonstrate a knowledge and application of IT system build and development, as well as sound judgement capabilities, to inform decision-making processes (sometimes under pressure) based on a variety of information.

You will also require a working knowledge and application of incident management and handling and the capability to operate within PU status.

•      Respond to internal helpdesk requests for desktop, networking, telephone, print and general IT support, including installing and configuring new PCs

•      User and Computer account management

•      Assist with new projects, initiatives and application roll outs

•      Manage and prioritise helpdesk workload based on severity and impact
