We are looking for a Principal Developer to join our Software Engineering team at Parliamentary Digital Service.

This postholder will be responsible for the ongoing iteration and development of UK Parliament's online look and feel, as well as the design of numerous internal applications integral to the running of the House of Commons and House of Lords.

As such, we are looking for a highly-creative, motivated Principal Developer who is UX specialist with specific expertise in design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (multiple JavaScript frameworks). You'll advise us on how to design drop boxes, dev forms, text boxes, creating reusable components to the right style, while helping to increase the Front End experience of our Developers. We have a two-year roadmap in place to add automation, better use of cloud technology, capacity planning for all global users and much more.
