The platform itself is built in Python on AWS using a combination of DynamoDB and RDS Postgres with a fair bit of Lambda.

The platform is still at very early stages of development so you, the Python Engineer, can expect to be involved in all areas of development, using a variety of different tools as well as getting involved in the mobile app built in Apache Cordova - building your skills up as a Polyglot Engineer.

You will be supporting with the delivery of architecture design, implementation and governance, supporting projects and BAU.

What will I be doing day-to-day?

• Supporting the business with data innovation, ensuring all users have access to the correct data sets.
• Taking responsibility for the ongoing development of Alteryx, Tableau & Power BI.
• Building conceptual and logical data models and databases.
• Creating, implementing, and developing assurance standards and reviewing and resolving breaches as required.

What are the requirements?

Role Descriptions:

• Longer hands on enterprise experience with Red Hat Linux OS (6 and 7) or CentOS/SuSE.

• Good experience with Google and/or Azure cloud

• Experience with vSphere and ESXi

• Experience with shell(bash) scripts. Python/perl can be an added advantage.
