My client who are a leading Financial services organisation based in the city are looking for a permanent Web UI junior/ mid level Developer, responsible for the web UI development of a new revenue driving, externally distributed Electron-based web UI, and help to create user interfaces to serve both internal and external clients. This will involve a complete modernisation across a range of applications using Angular 2+ (4). This exciting opportunity requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of modern technology and development practices, and will give candidates a stepping stone into Finance.
The responsibilities of this role will include:
- Delivering a wide range of web UIs - from analytics to trade input
- Estimating effort for work units, and delivering within those estimates
- Working with our Product team to advise on user experience and drive the designs
- Analysing and selecting appropriate libraries for use
- Ensuring interface code is unit tested with tools executable via a CI pipeline
- Helping to train or guide other web UI developers or those contributing
