We currently have a permanent position for a Technical Author for a leading Engineering company. The role will be to create a broad range of Technical documentation.

  • To take on project work for product management, production, marketing, copy writing and internet activities
  • Creation of technical documentation for all supplier components
  • Creation of graphics/illustration to support the creation of documentation
  • Liaising with project engineers/managers to ensure the correct documentation is ready and sent out with each project.
  • Writing the material clearly and concisely, making sure it can be easily understood by the target audience
  • Editing, proofreading and indexing Testing and written materials with users

Qualifications & Experience

  • Relevant qualification/background in engineering is required
  • Experience in writing HTML and JavaScript is essential
Experience in the following would software would be an advantage:

o Madcap Flare
o Adobe Illustrator
o Adobe Photoshop
o Autodesk Inventor
o 3d CAD software

Pure are working in partnership with a leading insurance business based in Harlow, Essex. This is a brilliant time to join as they are expanding across the business and have recently moved into brand new, open plan offices.

As a priority, we are looking to hire 2x Full Stack Web Developers to join their busy team. There are multiple projects on the go but initially, you will be building web services and renewing existing websites and making sure they are consistent across the brand.

There is a currently a small technology team of two so this opportunity would suit someone who is commercially savvy and has the ability to hit the ground running.

Tech wise, we are after those with the following:

• MVC
• SQL Server, MySQL
