Experienced Oracle Payroll Fusion Functional Consultant required for day to day production support.

Additional Oracle Fusion knowledge of HCM, Financials, Projects, Supply Chain and User Management is preferable but not essential.

In this role, you should be able to provide Functional, Technical and Configuration knowledge focusing on Payroll.

Location - Reading area

To be considered for the role, you will be an accomplished Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant with ideally experience of the Oracle Fusion modules. R12 experience will be considered as training can be offered.

Qualification's:

  • Degree level education or the equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience:

  • Good business knowledge in the Oracle Payroll functional area and role.
  • Proven experience configuring within the Oracle Fusion application modules is preferred. R12 experience will be considered as training can be offered.
  • The successful candidate will have a track record of working in a similar role as an Oracle Payroll Functional Consultant.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of the Payroll business environment and constraints to add value through the definition and delivery of information available from the Oracle Fusion Payroll module. * Ability to communicate with stakeholders (internal and external) at all levels
  • Understanding of SQL and ability to define queries
  • Skilled at writing/amending/understanding Oracle payroll fast formulas * Ability to manage conflict while maintaining positive working relationships
  • Initiating and driving change, with drive to achieve results
  • Strong written, verbal and presentational skills
  • Personal credibility
  • Good understanding of Data Protection Act requirements

Power BI Developer - Contract - £400 (Outside)

Company:
A highly reputable and leading organisation within the public sector is currently hiring a Power BI Developer to join small team and help commission a new ERP financial system. This will be a 2/3 month contract vacancy paying £400 per day (outside) with possible extensions.

Role responsibilities:
This post is to work in a team alongside Finance, Intelligence and the Project Management Office to enable delivery of a model to enable migration of finance data into a new ERP system. The project team will use Power BI to enable data model development and building on existing developments optimise the reporting of our clients financial data.
·Required to translate complex business requirements into technical specifications
·Develop a data model to enable effective migration of finance data into a new ERP system
·To enable understanding of desired future financial data structure develop and create a suite of automated financial reports using Power BI which will be used to deliver corporate financing decisions
·Connect to and use data from a variety of data sources including our Social Services Financials (ContrOCC) our ERP System (Oracle 1Business), and other sources such as Excel, performing all transformations using Power BI query and Data Flows
·Creation and ownership of effective Power BI Data modelling in line with best practice
·Development of report-based governance and documentation to ensure sustainability
·Perform basic data science duties, working with our Finance Team to improve understanding of the Council's financial data
·Utilising the navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drill-through) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story

Technical skills requirements:
·Experienced Power BI developer
·Ability to develop data models in Power BI that enable effective reporting and visualisation
·Experience of delivering data solutions in technically complex environments
·Experience of automating process and data flows
·Knowledge and experience of SQL and Power Apps
·Effective communication skills to enable working in a multifunction team
·Experience in financial data reporting is desirable
·Experience of finance data systems e.g. Oracle, ContrOCC (desirable)
·Experience of working with coding structures in complex financial databases (desirable)

Your new role
