Spectrum IT's longstanding Client are seeking an experienced Contract Software Developer to join them on an initial 6 Month contract in their Newbury office. The business are leaders in providing high-tech solutions to the eCommerce and Logistics market space.

As the Contract Software Developer you will take a hands-on role and play a key role in delivering business analysis tool used to understand financial costings/implications.

This role will require an experienced contractor who is willing to learn new technology and apply a can do attitude to new project areas. The client are open to a Fullstack developer joining the team with either Java backend skills OR React frontend experience to support different areas of the project.

Required Skills:

• C#.NET / ASP.net
• MVC
• Java AND/OR React
• Mongo DB (Nice to have)
• Apache (Nice to have)
• Docker (Nice to have)
• Kubernetes (Nice to have)
• Experience of CI/CD would be highly beneficial.

Senior SQL Developer -Contract - London (Liverpool street)

- £500 per day

Due to growth we are looking for a Senior SQL Developer working for a multinational investment bank.

We're searching for a senior SQL developer who is an expert in SQL development, data mapping, data quality, data load to join our team of developers on various Extraction Transform Load (ETL) projects.

Required Skills:

• Outstanding SSIS, SSAS and MS SQL skills
• Passion for SQL development
• Flexible, adaptive, prefers simplicity over complexity and self-motivated
• VBA/excel based expertise to support front end used by business users
• Strong SQL Skills and ability to write advanced SQL statements, Stored Procedures and Triggers.
• Experienced working with RAD/Agile development methodology for SDLC Standards
• Experience in development with Microsoft Azure Data Factory.
• Worked specifically with Microsoft .NET Framework (4.0 / 4.5) and SQL
• Experience in migrating on-premises SSIS packages to Azure Data Factory.
• Understanding of programming constructs (C#, VC++.NET) in a MS Windows based enterprise software environment

Nice to have:

• C# development skills is a valued plus.

Responsibilities:

• You will be a key participant in creating dynamic SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages to solve complex business problems

• You'll be part of the Business Transformation team in London which is part of the COO area of Group Treasury

• Design logical and physical database structures using Microsoft SQL Server.
  

• Gather user requirements and functional specifications.

• Interact with development team, QA, support and business users.

• Provide technical documentation, as needed.

• Design, build and deploy effective SSIS packages, Azure Data Factory

• Development of high-quality database solutions.

• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.

• Analyses existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

• Data mapping, transformation and performing ETL based on complex logic.
