The business have data at the very heart of everything they do, and as a result would like another data developer to join one of their cross-functional teams

We're looking for an experienced data warehouse developer, comfortable working with the likes of ETL, Data warehousing and SQL server, as well as the likes of Python/ Bash / Unix. As part of the recent transformation project, this role will get the opportunity to learn and work on a data lake solution utilising a host of AWS tools.

The typical experience we'd like to see includes:

- SQL
- ETL
- Data warehouse development
- Python / Unix / Bash Scripting

The business are moving in the direction of a more sophisticated cloud based estate. As a result you'll get the opportunity to learn the following technologies:

- AWS Redshift
- AWS Athena
- AWS S3
- AWS Spectrum
- AWS Lambda / step functions

If you have had exposure to any of the AWS tools above it's beneficial, however these are skills the business are happy to help you learn within the role - making this a great way to push your career forward whilst being part of an exciting project and a fun and vibrant team.

A Lead DevOps Engineer with great leadership and cloud implementation skills is sought by a FTSE 100 organisation to design and implement the AWS platform within the business.

As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines from development through to product implementation as well as having a central role within the technical code and design documentation.

The successful Lead DevOps Engineer will possess knowledge and skills within the following:

  • Microsoft Azure or AWS Certified
  • Strong hands-on scripting skills - Shell, Python
  • Experience in building pipelines for CI/CD implementations
  • AWS based build, deployment and automation (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Code Deploy)
  • Creating automation workflows with configuration management tools such as Ansible and/or AWS CloudFormation / Azure pipeline
  • Experience with Infrastructure Automation and IaC technologies
  • Managing the cloud workloads & effective technical liaison with Project Managers & Developers
  • Experience with administrating SaaS environments and tuning
  • Experience with containers and container scheduling and management platforms (such as: Docker or Kubernetes)
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience and exposure of working in both Waterfall and Agile environments. You’ll be working closely with the Senior Test Analyst in the team to create detailed test scripts and cases and ensure web applications are thoroughly examined before release.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Senior Test Analyst and Development team in an Agile environment
  • Create and execute detailed and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Web application and cross browser testing
  • End-to-end across both the SLDC and STLC
  • Maintenance of automation suite
