Pertemps Recruitment currently require a Data Migration Specialist for a public sector organisation, based in Glasgow (fixed Date commitments. Day rate of £325 (Outside of IR35).

You will support an existing small programme team working on the implementation of HR system (eESS, based on Oracle eBusiness Suite).
 
  • This role sits within the data migration work stream and focuses on the continual development of bespoke data migration solutions based on environment shadow copies of source data systems
  • Complex data quality and validation processes; static and dynamic data mapping

  • Experience of supporting and developing large-scale, multi-site IT systems.

Skills and qualifications:
Educated to Diploma/Degree level in an IT related subject or equivalent practical experience in this field

Recognised accreditations / qualifications in the systems/environments used, e.g. MS SQL.

Th Database Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of all the databases within the system, and maintains the internal database of the system as well as the individual applications. * Educated to degree level or with significant experience of Application Management.
* Demonstrative experience of managing applications at a senior level.
* Customer-focused work ethic with strong interpersonal capabilities.
* A successful track record in developing, analysing, collating, disseminating and controlling HR information and data
* Technical documentation skills with keen attention to detail.
* Able to command the confidence of senior operational managers, employees, trade unions, external partners and other stakeholders
