What is the role?
Working as part of a global team of support specialists you will be responsible for servicing the production integration needs of our enterprise customers. You will interact directly with our customers through live communication methods and deliver a high degree of professionalism, technical proficiency and a comprehensive understanding of their business workflows. You will work to help solve production service problems and consult, train and guide customers through enhancements and change management requests. You will work closely with our pre-sales engineers, solutions architects and product development in uncovering opportunities, managing production releases and positioning enhancements.

You'll need to have:
  • A computer science background with experience of Capital Markets
  • A foundational understanding of programming and scripting languages
  • A strong understanding of the trading lifecycle for both buy and sell side institutions
  • A passion for customer service with strong written and oral communication skills
  • A proven background in customer support with demonstrated ability in solving problems
  • A proven ability to multi-task, manage time and prioritize in a fast paced environment
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting connectivity/messaging i.e. FIX, MQ, SFTP, TCPIP
  • Hands on experience with XML/XSLT troubleshooting and development
  • Fluency in French, Spanish, Italian or German would be advantageous

We'd love to see:

Who we are looking for
We are seeking Project Managers to lead the process of upgrading a portfolio of our clients on a yearly recurring basis. The Project Manager is responsible for multiple aspects of the project including the sign-off of customer requirements and delivery deadlines, communication with key stakeholders and internal management, management of internal and external project resources, and managing the project budget and schedule. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of Project Management experience gained in the financial industry working for a consultancy or software vendor. Experience managing projects with Front, Middle or Back Office Investment Management systems in a SaaS environment is highly desirable. What you will be responsible for
As Project Manager you will
  • Utilize the Charles River Upgrade Methodology to successfully upgrade the Charles River Investment Management Solution(CRIMS). You will be responsible for managing the progress of the projects to meet deliverable and go-live dates.
  • Drive effective and impactful communication related to program activity. Serve as the point person for the program team and establish yourself as a partner for client stakeholders. Actively manage issues, risks and decisions.
  • Establish appropriate project governance to facilitate project reviews and ensure relevant issues are resolved at the appropriate level in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with your project team to set and manage stakeholder expectations around scope, schedule and budget. You will be responsible for managing and communicating issues to clients and internal stakeholders. You will also be the first level of escalation for all project issues.
  • Organize a team with the required skills for a successful project while providing our team members with appropriate opportunities for professional growth. Contributing to the development of our SaaS Operations team is critical as we scale to meet our firm's sales growth.
  • Manage internal and external resources involved in the project. This requires the ability to rally and lead a team comprised of Charles River professionals and customer resources.
  • Share lessons learned and best practices across programs and projects while building relationships with stakeholders.
  • Improve CRD's Upgrade methodology and build a library of standard project plans, collateral, and tools that are mapped to each phase of the upgrade methodology.
  • Evaluate and leverage collaboration technologies such as SharePoint and corporate social media to leverage experts and expertise throughout the organization.

Your role
ITS is an internal facing department, delivering a wide range of business enabling technology projects to Deloitte partners and staff located in the UK, Gibraltar and Switzerland.

The purpose of the Business Change Delivery function is to transform a business request into a fully supported technical reality accepted by the operational teams and the business requestor as being fit for purpose. This is to be achieved to an agreed quality, budget and timescale. A further objective is to provide strong change and technology leadership across the enterprise. In achieving this they need to be regarded not only as consistent but as efficient, dynamic and responsive. As an IT Project Manager within the internal IT department at Deloitte, no two projects will be the same. You will be persistent, analytical and flexible in your approach to delivering high-quality IT enabled business change to Deloitte Partners and staff.

You will be entrusted to manage projects autonomously, knowing that your manager will provide guidance and reassurance through regular catch-ups and support.

The Project Manager leads and manages the project team, with delegated authority and responsibility from the project board to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Project Managers have a key role interfacing between the ITS project and the business service lines. Project Managers are typically responsible for delivering between 1 and 3 projects concurrently. Typically these are less complex projects with lower levels of business change.
Project Mangers report to the appropriate Senior PM or Programme Manager for operational delivery related matters and will be coached by a Programme Manager in a matrix model.

The PM is responsible for:
  • Managing the production of deliverables to time, cost and quality requirements
  • Managing the expectations and satisfaction of the project’s sponsor and stakeholders
  • Directing, managing and motivating the project team
  • Creating and maintaining detailed integrated project plans
  • Managing the level of risk in the project and implementing effective change control
  • Following the organisation’s processes and best practice
  • Implementing control measures and regular reporting and take or recommend corrective actions as necessary
  • Managing project finances
  • Monitoring overall progress and use of resources and taking corrective action where necessary
  • Applying change control and configuration management
  • Maintaining an awareness of interdependencies with other projects

Your professional experience
Essential competencies and/or experience:
  • Strong of experience in a project management role in IT and/or information security
  • Strong organisational, attention to detail, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple concurrent deliverables, and ability to provide a positive influence within a team
  • Experience in stakeholder management, coordination, communications and reporting across a complex stakeholder structure
  • Experience in delivering large-scale, complex projects, particularly within the professional services industry would be considered a plus
  • Experience in financial budgeting and tracking
  • Professional project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP/PgMP or other relevant project management methodologies considered a plus

Your role
ITS is an internal facing department, delivering a wide range of business enabling technology projects to Deloitte partners and staff located in the UK, Gibraltar and Switzerland.

The purpose of the Business Change Delivery function is to transform a business request into a fully supported technical reality accepted by the operational teams and the business requestor as being fit for purpose. This is to be achieved to an agreed quality, budget and timescale. A further objective is to provide strong change and technology leadership across the enterprise. In achieving this they need to be regarded not only as consistent but as efficient, dynamic and responsive. As an IT Project Manager within the internal IT department at Deloitte, no two projects will be the same. You will be persistent, analytical and flexible in your approach to delivering high-quality IT enabled business change to Deloitte Partners and staff.

You will be entrusted to manage projects autonomously, knowing that your manager will provide guidance and reassurance through regular catch-ups and support.

The Project Manager leads and manages the project team, with delegated authority and responsibility from the project board to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Project Managers have a key role interfacing between the ITS project and the business service lines. Project Managers are typically responsible for delivering between 1 and 3 projects concurrently. Typically these are less complex projects with lower levels of business change.
Project Mangers report to the appropriate Senior PM or Programme Manager for operational delivery related matters and will be coached by a Programme Manager in a matrix model.

The PM is responsible for:
  • Managing the production of deliverables to time, cost and quality requirements
  • Managing the expectations and satisfaction of the project’s sponsor and stakeholders
  • Directing, managing and motivating the project team
  • Creating and maintaining detailed integrated project plans
  • Managing the level of risk in the project and implementing effective change control
  • Following the organisation’s processes and best practice
  • Implementing control measures and regular reporting and take or recommend corrective actions as necessary
  • Managing project finances
  • Monitoring overall progress and use of resources and taking corrective action where necessary
  • Applying change control and configuration management
  • Maintaining an awareness of interdependencies with other projects

Your professional experience
Essential competencies and/or experience:
  • Strong of experience in a project management role in IT and/or information security
  • Strong organisational, attention to detail, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and able to manage multiple concurrent deliverables, and ability to provide a positive influence within a team
  • Experience in stakeholder management, coordination, communications and reporting across a complex stakeholder structure
  • Experience in delivering large-scale, complex projects, particularly within the professional services industry would be considered a plus
  • Experience in financial budgeting and tracking
  • Professional project management certification such as PRINCE2, PMP/PgMP or other relevant project management methodologies considered a plus
  • Professional security management certification strongly desirable, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or other similar credentials, including a recommended minimum of 5 years of combined experience in the Information Security / Cybersecurity domain
  • Understanding of associated disciplines of Security Policy and Governance
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management role
  • Strong leadership and relationship management skills, with an ability to build good relationships with stakeholders and the wider ITS team
  • Advanced level use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint
  • Strong risk, opportunity & issue management
  • Proficient in estimation and schedule management
  • Analytical and flexible with the ability to rapidly understand ambiguous, unfamiliar and complex concepts.

The ideal candidate would also have:
  • Experience of using an enterprise project management tool such as ServiceNow and EPM
  • Experience of agile & waterfall project management methodologies
  • Experience working with team members in offshore and onshore locations
