A growing yet well established investment management firm with offices in Edinburgh is looking to hire a Systems Test Analyst to provide day to day support to meet the Systems Test Team objectives. You’ll provide expert test guidance, support and delivery to the business, development and support functions throughout the lifecycle of their software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed test preparation through the creation of test plans/ scenarios, scripts and cases using industry best practice techniques.
  • Execute tests, and where required, ensure tests are executed as per preparation, employing industry best practise techniques (including automation where appropriate).
  • Create, maintain and communicate clear, concise Test Level progress metrics, progress reports and completion reports.
  • Conduct verification and validation of test planning and execution including:

You will be responsible for producing clear and accurate documentation of the migration process, seek improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of data migrations and share knowledge and expertise with colleagues.

Candidates must have excellent written and IT literacy skills with sound working knowledge of MS Office products, specifically Excel. Knowledge of MS SQL Server or other relational database application is desirable. Candidates must have an interest in Data.
