Where you come in:

They are looking for a Python software engineer with a proven background of designing and implementing robust and scalable software. If you have experience in network and storage then great but you don't need full exposure. It would be great if you understand automation tools, APIs and carry extensive knowledge about testing.

Are you an experienced DBA looking to expand your skillset into the cloud. Do you have strong SQL and PostgreSQL knowledge? If so, this could be the role for you.

This consultancy has built an enviable reputation as a leading provider of data and cloud solutions to the public sector. The work is flooding in and they are subsequently looking to expand their experienced team in Croydon.

Working on a large Government project, you will be managing their on-premises PostgreSQL database. Working in a close knit team, you 'll have at least 5 years' experience in a Senior DBA role.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining and monitoring the database platforms
• Performance tuning, indexing, partitioning and load balancing.
• Deployment via CI/CD automation and configuration management
• Database modelling and data architectures
