Job Title: Market Risk Production Engineer

Market Risk (MR) implements and maintains systems to support Value at Risk numbers for the Bank driving Limits and Trading and regulatory practices within Deutsche Bank. MR is also a key contributor to the generation of Risk Weighted Assets numbers which is used to calculate the Capital Charge requirement for the Bank.
This role is for the MR Information Technology (IT) Production department. You will be responsible for ensuring stable and continuous service availability of MR IT systems. You will also face off to business users and resolve technical issues reported by users. You will be expected to work on enhancement to Production systems in terms of monitoring and automation with an aim to move towards zero touch production environments.

Your key responsibilities:
- Providing fast-paced technical support for all applications
- Managing the estate of Windows and UNIX application and database servers
- Creating and managing high priority incident tickets
- Working with members of the team and developers to resolve incidents, ensuring that affected users and management are always kept informed
- Contributing towards systems enhancements, monitoring and manual effort reduction by using latest Automation tools under the Agile framework
Your skills and experience:
- Deep understanding of server technologies: Unix, Linux and Windows
- Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Hive/Impala would be beneficial) and solid understanding of messaging middleware
- Strong Knowledge of Oracle Management, SQL scripts, performance management
- Solid understanding of monitoring systems like ITRS Geneos, Netcool and Trivoli
- Experience in Java, Python and Shell scripting
