The IT Business Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical and understandable way in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insight and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and define systems scope and project objectives through research activities and provide guidance to new or lower level analysts

Knowledge/Experience:

  • 5+ years’ work experience in the Capital Markets domain
  • Excellent understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk
    • Potential Future Exposure, Margin, Collateral Haircut, Liquidity and Period of Risk
    • ISDA MNA and CSA
  • Excellent understanding of Derivatives products.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) or Finance discipline.

The Infrastructure Senior Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for driving IT Service Management process and tooling strategies across Citi. This includes, but is not limited to, ITIL Service Management processes. The Infrastructure Senior Manager is an intermediate level role responsible for driving IT Service Management process and tooling strategies across Citi. This includes, but is not limited to, ITIL Service Management processes. The overall objective is to coordinate, manage and advise as part of a team of ITSM professionals on Service Management and Technical strategic concepts and activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, evaluate, provide resources and drive a team towards realistic goals
  • Apply expertise to to current/future ITSM developments and serve as point of contact for questions for the programme
  • Apply knowledge of concepts and procedures to resolve issues
  • Responsible for delivery of end results and resource planning; shares responsibility for budget management (cost and investment planning) which directly impacts the team
  • Contribute to formulation of strategies for IT Service Management functional areas across Citi
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of how IT Service Management integrates within a highly connected process estate liek Citi
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information; resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired experience industry knowledge.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements, evaluate controls to help mitigate negative outcomes through prevention, detection and correction
  • Persuades and influences others through communication skills; may negotiate with external parties
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.


Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in an ITSM environment of a large global enterprise
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to communicate ITSM concepts to non-technical audience
  • Experience in a Financial Services or large complex and/or global environment preferred
  • Ability to develop projects required for design of processes, metrics, business requiments, system design, testing, analytical tools, benchmarking and best practices
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective analytic/diagnostic skills
  • Ability to partner with virtual and in-person teams, define goals to a team, and work under pressure or to a deadline


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred

ICG Production Management and CTI Infrastructure Service Delivery :

Our organization owns application support and the delivery of infrastructure services to the Institutional Clients Group at Citi, through our global and diverse team of over 2300 people positioned across 66 cities in 37 countries supporting ~1800 applications. 

The ICG Production Services organisation provides business critical application management and support to our ICG clients globally. 

The CTI Infrastructure Services Delivery organization, through efficient provision and effective use of infrastructure, are uniquely positioned to deliver tangible benefit to ICG, alongside a best in class service from the global CTI organization. Owning our production platform provides a stable environment for our business.  

The Continuous Service and Infrastructure Improvement (CSII) team, is a small team accountable for having a big impact. We are responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives in support of our organisational objectives to deliver the needs of the Institutional Clients Group.

Your role in our team would encompass the following and more:

Working within ICG Production Management and Service Delivery, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Learn about both operational and non-operational day to day activities across a global application and infrastructure support organisation that directly enables the needs of the Institutional Clients Group
  • Partnership with Production Support and Infrastructure delivery teams to proactively deepen understanding of our business, technologies and streamline processes to continuously improve ourselves and the service we deliver
  • Scope, structure and execute strategic initiatives in support of our objectives for the next 18-24 months. Examples include:
    • Manual Touch Point reduction with focus on eliminating the highest risk and highest effort manual touches from our environment
    • Study the impact of best in class solution adoption across our applications, infrastructure and teams by taking a data-driven approach to identifying key benefit items and measuring success
    • Partner with teams to create capacity and track re-investment against priority stability and coverage projects
    • Partner with teams to ensure a fully accurate application on-boarding pipeline and support coverage view across ICG

  • Execute in-depth data analysis with interpretive thinking to determine the best business decisions to our biggest organisational challenges
  • Review the use of data in the organisation – both online and manual – are we making the best use of the data available to us in the most efficient way?
  • Report complex data in a comprehensive, user friendly and repeatable manner

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
