Core duties for Web Support Engineer - £40k
 
• Provide Tier 1 support; Logging, managing, investigating and resolving incidents • Be responsible for the whole lifecycle of the tickets • Cover support on products such as but not limited to; Umbraco CMS, Sitecore CMS, plus Trillium’s own platform solutions ? Admin user support for content management tasks, e.g. rich-text editing, media management, permissions, publishing, etc. 
? Basis HTML and CSS support for content editors 
? Provide deployment and hosting support – ability to pin-point issues and methods of remediation, e.g. DNS related, performance, availability, security, etc. 
? Be fully engaged in the scheduled managed delivery of ongoing projects, such as deployments and minor change requests..

 

Requirements 
 
• Knowledge of Content Management Systems (Umbraco 6+ and Sitecore 8+ preferred) ? Administration ? Content editing; user permissions; media management 
? User training and guidance • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge ? Understanding of structured mark-up and inherited properties • Knowledge of hosting environments and dependencies ? Differences amongst development, UAT, staging and production environments 
? Use of tools to identify issues, e.g. ping, DNS lookup, etc. • Good general understanding of an interconnected digital ecosystem, which includes websites, external data sources (e.g. CRM), automation systems and related integration methods, e.g. APIs • Basic knowledge (at least) of Google Analytics
