Project Manager - Volunteer Management

We are looking for a Project Manager who will focus primarily on developing and implementing the volunteer management strategy, scoping out the requirements of the volunteer management project through engagement with key stakeholders across the organisation and creating an appropriate project plan.

You will be educated to degree level or relevant professional qualification with a project management qualification ideally PRINCE2.

Core responsibilities of the role include:

Development of robust project plans
Production and maintenance of required project documentation
Co-ordination and completion of projects on time, within budget and within scope
Preparation of overall business case including project spend and the benefits realisation plan
Management of stakeholder and wider project communications
Project reporting and governance
Working within organisational project management methodology

Due to IChemE's international nature, this position requires a willingness to work flexibly and to engage in business discussions outside of normal working hours. The position is based at our Rugby office although some occasional travel may be required within the UK. Only applicants eligible to work in the UK will be considered.

This is a full-time role based on 37.5 hours per week working Monday through to Friday.

Starting salary will be in the region of GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 per annum (depending on experience) plus benefits which includes an excellent pension scheme. Only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be considered.
