  • A passion for well designed, testable and efficient code using modern design patterns and quality development principles.
  • Previous experience in developing high quality, scalable and secure Java apps.
  • A solid understanding of the full software development cycle.
  • Minimum of one popular web framework (Spring MVC, Servlets).
  • Experience with Javascript and Front-End Development.
  • Experience with Unit Testing.
  • The ability to not only follow but collaboratively set development standards.
  • The ability to proactively identify issues and barriers and escalate or resolve them appropriately.
  • A passion for user experience.

My Client are a large telecoms Fibre supplier with their own Network. They are looking to increase the size of their network and expand the service they can offer. This includes planning a major FTTH build across the East of England.
 
My client are searching for a Data Analyst to help with the launch of their FTTH service into new areas and to report and monitor this growth on a daily basis. You must be able to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.
 
 
Key responsibilities:
 
·Extract, interrogate and analyse data from multiple sources using a mixture of existing data extraction routines and ad-hoc queries
·Maintain and update various Excel-based management information reports
·Prepare exhibits for board reports

About The Role - SQL Database Administrator

  • Are you experienced in providing 2nd / 3rd line technical support for databases and associated applications, focusing on prevention, root cause fix and automation of issue resolution?

  • Our client is now looking for an experienced Database Administrator to join their Service team, where you’ll be responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of all centralised Company corporate databases and associated applications and servers.

Responsibilities - SQL Database Administrator

  • You’ll be part of a great team, providing technical support for IT professionals within the Company in the area of database management and associated applications whilst supporting senior team members in resolving and preventing complex issues.
  • Based in their modern Andover office, the database team take full responsibility for supporting the management of database and associated server resources, including installation, monitoring, performance tuning and backups whilst contributing to the design, capacity planning and strategic growth planning of all centralised databases and associated applications.

About You - SQL Database Administrator

  • To ensure your success, they will need you to have demonstrable experience of supporting production and development databases, environments and applications and have experience of working with all the components of IT infrastructure (hardware, databases, virtualization, operating systems, local area networks etc.).
