As Senior Software Developer | Software Engineer, you?ll join a talented team of like-minded individuals working with the latest cutting-edge technology with exposure to large-scale cloud-hosted applications.

THE BASICS:

As Software Developer | Engineer you will have strong experience in C++ (or similar) be familiar with distributed system and have keen mathematical skills. You?ll develop skills in multiple and challenging technical areas and will be expected to work across several disciplines to include software/database design, C++ algorithm development, continuous integration/delivery and PHP scripting.

You will work as part of a team on a large-scale application that supports services in use by major global media companies along with being responsible for the full development lifecycle, from design prototype through to development, testing and deployment.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

As Software Engineer | Software Developer, you?ll have strong programming skills, knowledge of data structures and algorithms as well as object-oriented development and design patterns along with experience with UNIX/LINUX systems including scripting skills

Strong commercial software development skills, excellent mathematical and communication skills

Experience in one or more modern general purpose programming languages such as PHP, C/C++, Python, JavaScript will be sought after.

Experience with automated testing best practices, and Continuous Integration/Delivery.

Familiarity with software configuration management (SCM) concepts and version control systems, especially Git.

You?ll hold BEng / MEng / BSc / MSc in relevant subject or equivalent experience.

Hold a Degree preferably in Maths or Physics

You?ll also be working closely with other team members in an agile environment, sharing knowledge and delivering to rapid timescales in a dynamic environment.

·Automated management of all server components using Puppet, Packet, Ruby, Docker, Terraform
·Support the software delivery process by identifying and providing appropriate pre-production environments.
