Role summary:

Our client is looking to appoint a DevOps Software Engineer in a unique position working closely with both Infrastructure Engineers and Developers to promote and demonstrate best practice Cloud ways of working. The role focuses on enabling app developers to integrate their applications in a cloud-based infrastructure and grant them easy access to the authority platform.

Essential experience required:

In order to fulfil this role, you will have experience in:

•Developing software and applications in Java with skills in C#, C++, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python

•Familiar with an Agile approach and SE practices including Continuous Integration and DevOps

•Good knowledge of Cloud Technology

Job role responsibilities:

The DevOps Software Engineer will be:

•Advising clients on use of best practice and Cloud technology

•The use of Middleware/Storefront products

•Migrate from legacy system to meet strategic needs

•Developing software and applications in Java with skills in C#, C++, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python

  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies

Desirable:
