THE ROLE: I’m looking for a Software Engineer Unicorn to quickly integrate into the tech team and help them deliver on their ambitious and challenging roadmap as they continue to roll out across the globe.

In order to make the user experience consistent and intuitive across the dizzying array of devices and platforms they’re currently targeting, you will need to apply flexibility and creative thinking on a daily basis to help bring the truth back to ratings around the world.

Your day to day –

  • Working with technical team leads to develop and deliver high performance APIs, front end web applications and services.
  • Implement and maintain consumer applications and internal back office tools.
  • Code highly scalable and efficient software.
  • Fix bugs / defects in unfamiliar code.

Assist in project work (software testing, end-user support insights, creation and review of end-user documentation) ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Must have:

The role:

Due to the widespread knowledge base of the team, the right individual would have a few different capabilities. They will ideally be a data oriented Solution Architect as around 50% of the day to day activities will be looking after the data side of the business. An individual with a passion for the integration side of the business - someone who is able to speak to the design team about integration / development work.   • Strong experience / knowledge of solutions design
  • Ability to think laterally to solve problems and strong analytical experience
  • Experience of Architecture Frameworks (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Design Pattern experience (including Enterprise Design Patterns)
  • Experience with relevant toolsets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence in developing relationships, networking, negotiating and influencing people from diverse backgrounds, roles and personal drivers
  • Extensive experience around the Software Delivery Lifecycle (specifically analysis, architecture and design)
  • Relay complex technical solutions in to laymen's terms
  • Demonstrable experience working in a multidisciplinary environment and be a good team player
  • Innately thorough with an eye for detail; delivering high quality output to tight deadlines
  • The ability to absorb business and IT knowledge

  • Knowledge of Sparx Systems Enterprise Architect

About you and your role:

You're an experienced Test Engineer with the skills and knowledge to lead, shape, and guide multiple performance test teams, developing the performance test strategy across a flagship government programme.
