I`m looking for a Python Software Engineer, ideally with GIS experience. You will be joining an established, but smaller team within a fast-growing software business in an exciting industry.

I`m looking for someone with:

  • Recent, strong Python experience & python microservices (e.g. flask/gunicorn).
  • Experience or understanding of GIS/QGIS
  • Good SQL experience - ideally PostgreSQL
  • Experience of unit testing
  • Object-oriented analysis
  • AWS experience and an interest in CI/CD a bonus


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work on developing new features as well as refactoring of existing system
  • Provide guidance and expertise in python unit tests coverage
  • Perform code reviews and set best practices for the product
  • Develop and maintain approach to integrate with third party satellite image providers
