What we’re looking for...

We are looking for confident, enthusiastic and motivated Infrastructure Support Engineers who want to join a growing MSP with exciting career opportunities and progression with Microsoft certifications MCSA / MS + AZ Exams.

From day one you will be involved with Server and Infrastructure issues, accelerating your technical experience and pushing you to progress through the support team in senior roles.

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 months experience within a helpdesk role and can hit the ground running in a fast paced environment, coping well under pressure with a real drive to succeed. Acting when necessary as a mentor to fellow colleagues in your team, becoming a role model and setting high levels of customer service at all times.

  • Exposure to a diverse mix and client solutions and multi vendor technologies

  • Working across the very latest Cloud technologies.

  • Managing all tickets logged

  • Managing client communication

  • Mix of Proactive and reactive incidents

  • Building strong client relationships through excellent communication skills

  • Work with internal departments to highlight client concerns and resolve incidents

  • Enrol on a structured training plan to further develop career, moving to 2nd Line

  • Ensure an effective assignment and escalation of incidents to level 2 and level 3 support teams

  • You’ll be equipped with the latest in productivity and collaborative solutions designed to help you.

What will your job look like?

The Web Developer role will work within an existing team on maintaining and further developing the back-end / server-side code of the large and complex MVC application used by many major global media companies.

You will come from a strong web application development background, and will have experience working on complex multi-tiered web applications.

The successful candidate will also be expected to develop their skills in multiple challenging disciplines to work as part of a rapidly growing technical organisation.

Key daily tasks involve

  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best of breed software development practices.
  • Developing functions for data validation and pushing into / pulling from databases / unstructured data stores.
  • Implementing worker / task runner components, working through a central task orchestration system, to interface with other internal solution components (video fingerprint identification, watermark extraction etc.) and external services (email sending etc.).
  • Integrating data from various back-end services and databases.

What you need
